"GALA" Short Film, under JRAON production

THIS SHORT FILM WAS A REQUIREMENT IN MID-TERM IN TV PRODUCTION IN UNIVERSITY OF THE EAST, 3RD YEAR BROADCAST COMMUNICATION STUDENTS BY PROFESSOR RAMON NUNEZ.

THIS FIVE MINUTES SHORT FILM WAS WRITTEN BY THE DIRECTOR JAY RAON. HE IS ALSO THE CAMERAMAN OF THIS FILM.

BY THE HELP OF THE CATALUNA FAMILY THE FILM WAS CREATED. THE LOCATION WAS SHOOT ON THE HOUSE OF THE CATALUNA FAMILY.

THIS FILM IS ORIGINALLY BASED FROM THE EXPERIENCES OF THE WRITER. THIS FILM WAS EDITED ALSO BY JAY RAON.

"LUBID" Short Film, under Makbong Production

The story of "LUBID" is mainly about friendship, ruined by a vengeance of a member who was not actually welcome in the group

Sheila, Steven, Ramon and Tyronne were about to go to Eula's birthday. As they were having fun, partying and all, they decided to play the truth or dare game. Suddenly in the middle of the fun, Ramon walked out upon seeing Steven and Sheila sweet as if they were like lovers. So, being bothered by the situation, Eula, Sheila and Steven went on to look for Ramon leaving Tyronne alone. While Tyronne was alone and the others are looking for Ramon, a mysterious killer came and choked Tyronne to death, killing him in an instance. So, the two girls decided to leave Steven alone to check for Tyronne. When they saw Tyronne, they freaked out because he was dead and he had rope marks on his neck. Ramon came and asked what happened, but Eula saw blood stains and scratches on his arm, they thought it was Ramon who killed Tyronne, so they parted ways, Eula and Sheila went to get help. Leaving Steven alone, the mysterious killer again attacks him killing him the way it did to Tyronne. Sheila heard Eula screamed, so she went to Eula and found Steven's body, with the same marks, dead. She saw Eula too lying near Steven's body, so when she was about to hug Eula, Eula rose and grabbed her by the neck. It was Eula who was the mysterious killer! She was the odd looking Rosalie before, and she wanted vengeance!

When back in high school, Ramon met this odd looking girl named Rosalie. Thinking that she has no friends, Ramon was nice enough to ask her to join his group. As they were hanging out, it is very obvious that Steven and Tyronne didn't like Rosalie at all. So, they played a trick on her giving her a dare of being tied up in her hands and feet and try to be free in 5 minutes. Rosalie, wanting to fit in the group, took the dare and did it. As she was about to be freed from being tied up she slips, falls to the ground and hits her head. Every one was shocked to see blood running from her head, thinking that she is dead; they left her there at once.

But before Eula could have killed Sheila, Ramon came in the scene helping Sheila, and ended up killing Eula instead.

The realization came to Sheila and Ramon that the reason why Rosalie wanted to kill them all was because of anger and the feeling of not belonging in their group. That pushed her to fill her heart, and mind with furious thoughts by the fact that they left her behind, when she was near to death. It was late though because before they could have appreciated Rosalie, she has turned herself in to Eula, a different person who wanted to get even with the people she hated back then. As two of their friends were killed, Ramon and Sheila are hoping to start a new life, and forget the bitter past they have had.

"KASAMBAHAY" Short Film

This one minute and thirteen seconds short film will test and justify your mind, if you really know how to think.

A new short film that Jay Raon written and directed. He also handle the camera. It is very surprising because Jay didn't expect that he will be doing a short film. But this short film has a good concept and a story.

You will know the flow of the story in camera shots, and sounds. No dialogue at all, it has a natural sounds and music. The camera shots was great.
